As
you can see I wear many
hats. I purchased my
first recording
apparatus a Teac 4 Track
in 1977 when I joined
Kenny Rogers. I knew
then I needed a creative
outlet for myself,
because playing a
superstars hits on a
nightly basis and making
it sound fresh is
totally different from
being creative and
stretching out in a jazz
band.
I'm fairly new to the
computer having
purchased my first one
Christmas of 2002. I did
however upgrade my
recording equipment over
the years to a 80-8 and
then "Stand Alone" hard
disk recorders. I was
introduced to SAW PRO in
2001 by a dear friend
and colleague Frank V.
Farrell while mixing my
"No Boundaries" Cd. He's
been on the cutting edge
of the Saw products for
years now. He told me
about SAW STUDIO and I'm
eternally grateful he
helped me take the next
step in my musical
recording journey. My
blessing in all this is
I didn't have to unlearn
a bunch of computer
commands but was able to
grasp Bob's vision of
how a program was
suppose to work...AND
WORK IT DOES! I'm also
told I'm one of the
first to record directly
into SAW STUDIO without
a go-between consol.
Pretty exciting for a
newbie!
I
honestly feel I can
compete with the big
boys and $100,000 plus
studios with the advent
of SAW STUDIO the
mixing, recording, and
editing ability is
nothing less than top
notch.
My
thanks to Bob Lentini
for a truly innovative
program that even a
novice to computers like
me can run. |
