Roy bought a MU-2 from the company that my dad was the ground & flight school
instructor for. I was gigging
in Florida at the time when my parents called to let me know that Roy was coming
to town.
Needless to say I was in my car heading for Texas to meet one of my hero's.
Roy invited my family to Nashville for the taping of Hee Haw and the rest is
history.
